As we lead you into considering what your transition (if you have one!) may look like, remember that every journey to the place we give birth is different — sometimes it's slow and sacred, sometimes rushed and full of energy. Let your moment hold whatever it needs to: the breath before the wave, the grip of someone’s hand, the quiet hum of what’s beginning — the mad dash to the car, pillow under your arm! There's no right or wrong here, really — but we hope that providing some of these things to consider will help take some of that little extra nervous edge off when your moment comes.
Remember: Take one last look around, grab your bag, and go. You’ve made it through the waiting, the planning, the wondering — and now, it’s time. Trust yourself. You are ready for this. You are strong. And you’ve already done something incredible.
